Dear golf enthusiasts,
It is with great pleasure that we would like to thank you all for participating in the 19th edition of the German Boys and Girls Open at the St. Leon-Rot Golf Club. This year over 225 athletes from 29 different nations took part in this high profile tournament.
Of particular note was the presence of 50 college coaches for the first time, as well as representatives from PING, Titleist and Upgameapp. Their presence made the tournament even more special.
Congratulations to our winners Tim Widemeyer from Germany and Rocio Tejedo from Spain for their outstanding performances and winning their categories. They competed with great success over the three days of the tournament.
We would also like to thank you all for attending the impressive Players Night. It was a wonderful evening with delicious food and top class raffle prizes that we will remember for a long time.
Special thanks to Dietmar and Daniel Hopp for their generous support of the tournament. Without their help it would not have been possible to put on such a first class amateur event. We are very grateful for their support and commitment.
Finally, we would like to thank the members of the St. Leon-Rot Golf Club. Their understanding and support made the tournament run smoothly. You are an important part of this first class event and we are grateful for your hospitality and enthusiasm for golf.
